Dr. Farid A. Sobhani is a globally reputed scholar in the field of human resource management and corporate governance. He is the Life Fellow of Bangladesh Society for Human Resources Management (BSHRM); and Founder Chairman of BSHRM, Chittagong. He has been teaching HR related courses in different universities and institutions during last 20+ years. A number of PhD candidates are pursuing their studies abroad under his supervision. He is a Visiting Professor of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Malaysia. Presently, he is the Director of Human Resource Development Institute (HRDI); Professor and Dean of Daffodil International University (DIU), Dhaka. Now, he is the Founder Secretary General, Federation of Bangladesh Human Resource Organizations (FBHRO), Dhaka. He did BBA and MBA from University of Chittagong; Master’s in Management from University of Antwerp, Belgium; and PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia. He was the Dean, Faculty of Business Studies at International Islamic University Chittagong; Syndicate Member of Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM); and Company Secretary of Credit Rating Information and Services Limited, Dhaka. He got published more than 50 research articles in national and international Journals; and attended many international conferences, seminars, and workshops in Asia, Europe, Australia and America.
