Mr. Ghani started his career from teaching at a degree college. While serving as Lecturer, Bangabandhu Govt. College, he left the job of Govt. College in 1974 and in the same year joined the services of a Govt. owned Sector Corporation. Mr. Ghani successfully served there more then 30 years. During his Long service career, he served in the department of Establishment, Administration, Employee Relations and Personnel Division of the Corporate Head office and as Chief Executives of its Enterprises. After retirement from the service in 2005, he engaged himself in the Human Capital Development activities as Director of Studies, Institute of personnel Management, Bangladesh (popularly known as IPM).He is one of he Founders and Fellow of the IPM. He was Secretary General and immediate past President of the Executive Council of the IPM. He organizes different training courses regularly and used to render his services as Guest Speaker at IPM, BMDC(BIM), BSIC, BTMC and other Training Institutes. Mr. Ghani is a Freedom Fighter of the great Liberation war-1971 and associated with many social organizations. He completed his Masters Degree from the Dhaka University and was placed in the 1st class. He has got his Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (PGDPM) from BMDC and one year Post Graduate Diploma in International Management (PGDIM) from IMI, Delhi. During service life he attended lots of training courses both at home and abroad and abroad.
